Process
How a project runs
Two documents: one agreement you sign once, and a written quote for each project. Everything else follows from them.
Step 1: Get in touch
A real conversation about your business, not a sales script. Tell us what you need.
Step 2: Sign one agreement
The Master Services Agreement is signed once. It covers how payment works, who owns what, and what happens if something goes wrong. Every project after that runs under it.
Step 3: Get a written quote
The Statement of Work lists what gets built, what it costs, and when it will be done. You sign one per project, before anything starts. Anything added later gets its own price first, as a change order.
Step 4: Build and review
Text and photo changes are free for 30 days after delivery, and so are the first 4 bigger changes, like a new page or feature.
Step 5: Launch, then keep it running
Hosting keeps the site online, $15 a month on every site. Maintenance is optional on Quick Launch and required on Complete Launch.
The agreements
What the agreements say, in plain English
Extra work is priced in writing first
Anything that was not in your written quote gets a price and your approval before work starts. That is called a change order.
You own it on final payment
The completed site, its design, and its content are yours once the balance clears.
Your web address is always yours
The domain is bought under your own account, no matter who set it up. DebugDad never holds a client's web address.
We may show your site in our portfolio
DebugDad may show the finished site in its own portfolio, unless you ask otherwise in writing.
Virginia law applies
If there is ever a dispute, we talk it through first, then use a mediator, before either side does anything else.
The documents arrive by email
The full Master Services Agreement and Statement of Work are not posted here. They are emailed to you after we talk.
