DebugDad ("we", "us") generates a website for your business from information you provide in the intake wizard, and hosts it while your subscription is active. You get a free preview before any payment is required; sign in with an emailed link to claim it and it's yours to keep, free.
AI disclosure: the sites we generate are produced using AI (Anthropic Claude), using the business information you submit as source material. No human author writes the content from scratch. By claiming a site or subscribing, you confirm the information you submitted is accurate and represents your business.
You're responsible for reviewing your generated site before it goes live, and for keeping it accurate afterward. We don't independently verify AI-generated content against your business's real practices, licensing, or claims.
We don't process payments for your customers. If you add buy links to your site, they point to your own account with a payment provider — Square, Shopify, Etsy, Stripe, PayPal or another. Your customer leaves your site and pays that provider directly. We never receive, hold, or route those funds, and we are not a party to any transaction between you and your customers. Pricing, sales tax, shipping, fulfillment, refunds, chargebacks, and your agreement with the provider are yours. Your subscription with us (section 3) is separate and is the only money that moves between you and DebugDad.
There's no password: we email you a one-time sign-in link, valid briefly and tied to your address. Keep access to that email address, since it's how you prove you own your account.
Subscription prices are in USD and billed through Stripe. You see the full preview of your site before paying anything. You can cancel anytime from your dashboard; cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you've already paid for, and we don't issue prorated refunds for unused time.
If a renewal payment fails, we'll email you; if it doesn't resolve, your subscription ends and your site reverts to an unpublished, watermarked preview. Your content and design are preserved, not deleted. We'll notify you by email before any price increase takes effect on your subscription, applied only from your next renewal.
If you register a custom domain through DebugDad, you're the registrant of record under ICANN rules, not us; we act as your agent to register it using our domain-registration provider. While your subscription is active we cover registration and renewal. If you cancel, the domain stays yours and we'll help you transfer it out.
Once a domain is transferred to your own registrar, renewal is your responsibility. We're not liable for a domain that lapses due to non-renewal after transfer, or for registration delays caused by the registry or by incomplete or inaccurate information you provided.
You own the words, images, and business information you provide. You're responsible for making sure it's accurate and that you have the right to use it, including any photos you upload. Don't give us someone else's trademark or photos you don't have rights to. If your published site collects visitor messages through its contact form, that's your customer data; we store it on your behalf, but how you use it is on you.
If a third party brings a claim against DebugDad LLC arising from content or materials you supplied (a photo, trademark, or business claim you didn't have the right to use), you agree to defend and indemnify us against that claim.
You own your site's content. DebugDad owns the platform: the generation pipeline, templates, component library, and underlying technology. Subscribing doesn't transfer any of that to you.
If you believe content on a DebugDad-hosted site infringes your copyright, send a written notice to contact@debugdad.com identifying the work, its location, your contact information, and a statement of good-faith belief the use is unauthorized. We'll respond promptly.
Don't use DebugDad to build a site for anything illegal, or for content involving hate speech, harassment, defamation, or fraud. Don't attack, scrape, or abuse the platform. We may refuse service or take down a generated site that violates this section, and we'll tell you why.
You can stop using the service anytime. We may suspend or terminate access for a material violation of these terms, with reasonable notice unless the violation involves illegal activity. If we ever discontinue the platform entirely, we'll give at least 90 days' notice and a way to export your site.
The service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. To the fullest extent the law allows, DebugDad isn't liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, and our total liability for any claim is capped at what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
These terms are governed by the laws of the state where DebugDad LLC operates. If you have a concern, email us first. We'd rather sort things out directly.
If we update these terms, we'll post the new version here with a new date and try to notify you by email for material changes. Continuing to use the service after a change takes effect means you accept it.
